The information we receive depends on what you do when you visit our site.
When you visit Taro's site, Taro will not collect personally identifiable
information about you unless such information is provided voluntarily. In
general, you can use many of our websites without telling us who you are or
revealing any personal information. However, in the event you decide not to

What is a "cookie"?
Cookies are small text files a website can use to recognize repeated usage,
facilitate the user's access to and use of the site and allow a site to track
usage behavior and compile aggregate data that will allow content improvement
and targeted advertising. Cookies are not programs that come into a user's
system and damage files. Generally, cookies work by assigning a unique number
to the user that has no meaning outside the assigning site. If a user does not
want information to be collected through the use of cookies, there is a simple
procedure in most browsers that allows the user to deny or accept the cookie
feature; however, users should note that cookies may be necessary to provide
the user with certain features (e.g. customized delivery of information)
available on the Taro site.
If you choose to identify yourself such as by sending us an email,
requesting further information or services, registering or placing an order:
Taro's primary purpose in collecting and processing your personally
identifiable information is to provide you with the services you request. In
some cases, Taro may also request to use your personally identifiable
information for the purposes of providing you with additional information about
our products and services, or to send information to you on other products and
services that may be of interest to you. If so, we will state in the area of
our websites where we collect information for these additional purposes and
will allow you to choose not to be contacted or receive additional information.
Taro allows you to decide whether you want your personally identifiable
information to be used for the purpose of providing you with additional
information about our products and services. Taro will use personal information
only in ways that are compatible with the purposes for which it was collected
or authorized by the individual. The personally identifiable information that
you provide will be available to Taro, its advisors and consultants or
companies working on Taro's behalf. Taro will not disclose your personally
identifiable information to any parties other than these entities, except as
required by law, or unless we have obtained your consent.
